Research Paper

Any questions? I'll check this post over the weekend.

Who else felt that the Cornell trip was a waste?

I felt that that Cornell trip was more of a tour then a time to research. While I did get some resources they were all on the internet. The time we actually had to research was wayyyy to little. I mean it was like 4 hours of touring and then like 1 hour of actual research which was even really research because any books we found we couldn't even take out, and who was gonna pay $.40, or however much it was, to print one sheet of paper. The 1 hour deal also made it difficult to take any notes because first you had to find the books and then you only had maybe 45 min at most to take notes on a whole book? And you still only got 1 source out of all that work. I'm sorry but that trip was just a big waste for me. How do the rest of you feel about it? How do you think it could be made better? or why do you think it was a good trip?

Research Paper: Book Selection

Students-
Pick your book asap and get a copy of it asap! I will give you time to read the book on both Thursday and Friday. It would be wonderful if everyone had a copy of the book by then!
Thanks,
Mr. J.

Democracy?

This is an interesting documentary by HBO films examining vote machines in America. This is not a liberal or conservative issue, but a concern all of us should share (especially in light of 1984). This is the first nine minutes. You can see the whole thing via Youtube.

Comments and viewing are optional. I just want all of us to be as aware as possible.
